I'm glad to be back in the Desert and ready to serve. (Ask me in person why I left California and why I was called to return.)

If I haven't figured it out yet, I surely will. The best way to put me to use is to challenge me to something new. I'd do this job whether I'm paid or not, to my last breath, hammer in hand.

My initial interest as a kid was computer programming and philosophy ("the unexamined life is not worth living", RIP Socrates) but I cannot sit behind a desk nor do I fit in with the corporate world.

and distance myself from the Brave New World of "online community." This is my social media.

You'll eventually see me around town, at city council meetings, etc. I want to change the world - first my street, then your street, then your friend's street. Please turn off your TV and serve your self, then your family, then your town - in that order.

I give thanks to many who influenced my worldview and I'm a sucker for long conversations about anything but two quotes summarize everything I believe:

"Beauty will save the world"

...and when Frank Lloyd Wright (the architect) was asked which of his houses was his favorite, he said:

"The next one"
